Finally we are up to date apart from a couple of videos which I will post on Facebook when ready.  The previous “sticky” post has been relegated to further down the list.  Will do a post on our travels around the area here as we go along, and one on Frances’ visit to China……   meanwhile……

We spent about a month at Gunning during which we organised for Frances to take a trip to China to see our newest Grandson; she was to meet up at Shanghai with Renee who was to fly in from India and then go out to Luan where Thomas and his family live and work at present.  We ended up having lots of problems because Australian Immigration had fragmented Frances immigration records and her permanent re-entry visa was invisible!  They finally fixed it with only a day to spare in order to get the Chinese entry visa.

More on the China trip later!

More images around Gunning on our second visit here:

Meanwhile Keith stayed on for a few days after Frances left on June 5/6, and then moved on to Cowra to get a little bit warmer and with less of the cold winds that make the Gunning district the home of wind farms!

I ended up staying at Cowra for a week and then taking 2 and a bit days via Cassilis (Bowls Club – $10 a night) and the Bullahdela Bowls Club (same deal) to our house sitting at Firefly, near Nabiac on June 18.
