We went out here with Renee last Saturday week; great little spots only about 20km East of Alice. The MacDonnell Range has these complete “Gaps” all along where old water courses have gouged their way through. At the Southern approach to Alice Springs is Heavitree Gap where the Todd River bed passes through the range as well.
