Kalgoorlie offers a few walking opportunities, one of them right from the RV Stop. The Kokoda Walk actually terminates just behind the RV Park at Centennial Park, It originates as part of a walking and cycling path that extends 4.1km through to South Boulder. We walked out and back just beyond the 3km of the Kokoda Trail. where the storyboards begin. The path follows a mostly natural stormwater course with very easy walking.
Karlkurla Bushland Reserve
To the Northern side of Kalgoorlie Boulder is the Karlkurla Bushland Reserve where the Park Run takes place. The day before the run we walked roughly the same 5km course that the runners take which includes a Lookout on
