June 26, 2014: It has been getting colder as we head back to Brisbane for Thomas’ brief visit but I don’t think we expected minus 3 ?
The last few days have been getting colder at night but apart from Tuesday when we travelled here which was cold all day (about 17 at best!) the days have been 20+ and very pleasant, full sun again today. We were going to stay at Murgon Caravan Park for a week instead of here but the Council closed it down and converted it to a free camping area with 2 day limit although there is water and toilets still (power turned off). As it happens the Showgrounds here at Kingaroy have a cheaper weekly rate which is the same ($140) as Murgon would have been. Lots of vans here but plenty of space and walking distance to shops.
