August 2014 – The Next loop:
Our Proposed route for the next part of our Journey taking in a visit to Renee in the Centre and Bob at Gunning on the way around. The aim is to use this as the main route with some “offshoots” as chosen along the way to various destinations and features (eg Uluru).
Due to circumstances this route never happened. We arrived in Townsville with injector problems and were delayed there so headed straight across to the NT instead of the Gulf. Once in Alice we volunteered at the Transport Hall of Fame and stayed for 7 months then taking a quick return to Brisbane for the birth of grandson Harley.
