Less than 20km North of Tennant Creek is The Pebbles, an area related to The Devil’s Marbles. This has a camping area and basic toilets and being off season we stayed closer to the toilets than further down in the separate camp area. As we had plenty of supplies we stayed here for 2 nights and had another camper there the second night. In all we only had about four visitors drove in and walked around the site.
This was our first experience of the ground being too hot for the poor old dog to walk on and she was trying to run to reduce the effect!
