The Steppes Sculptures in the Bush

A few hundred metres from the Homestead, and connected via the main road or a walking track, are these bronze sculptures. These were created by Tasmanian sculptor Stephen Walker, and “dedicated to those who share in the love and care of the Highlands of Tasmania, from the past to the future.” Walker was also responsible for the creation  of the bronze sculptures on the Hobart waterfront, and the whale at Cockle Creek.
