From the edge of the Campground are the two ends of the loop walk of around 5km which takes in the Lady Barron Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the well-known Russell Falls.

If you walk anti clockwise (as we were advised) you descend the two sets of steps instead of climbing them and the only climb is the first part of the pathway to the ridge; this is a little hard going but after that, the rest is an easy walk.

The first set of steps (238) lead down close to Lady Barron Falls (at Left).

This short video summarises a view of the three waterfalls

The gallery of images below is the first part of the total loop.

From Lady Barron there is a short climb and then a road crossing over Lake Dobson Road ad through the tall trees walk to Horsehoe Falls

The final part of the loop takes you a very short distance to the top of Russell Falls and then the 200 steps down to the bottom. From here there is a choice of two paths back to the visitor Cente and Campground, one of which is constructed to be wheelchair accessible.
