From the Mongans Bridge Caravan Park we took a drive to Mount Beauty for lunch. On the way you pass the “official” Mount Bogong Lookout. This is Victoria’s highest peak at 1986m and marks today the start of the snow covered peaks and the ski fields of Victoria’s High Country.

Just before Mount Beauty taking the turnoff towards Bright you climb the hill rapidly and arrive at Sullivans Lookout with these stunning views over mount Beauty; Falls Creek is only 30km from MB up the hills to the right.
