We took the time to drive up Anzac Hill and look over the township, quite a view as the rest of the town area is so flat. Above – view to the West overlooking the Railway Station and along the Northside of the MacDonnell Range.

One of the main attractions in the town area is the Old Jail which now houses the Pioneer Women’s Hall of Fame,  also run by volunteers.  The site combines some restored jail cells and memorabilia with the Women’s exhibits and one building set aside for “guest” exhibits.
