While Frances was away visiting her sister in the UK, Keith did a little more exploration of the hillside opposite, finding two short loop walks of around 3.3 and 2.3 km, as well as advancing further up the hillside on a more accessible trail than our first attempt. The wildflowers and shrubs are increasing their display and at one point I disturbed a kangaroo grazing alongside the path who got more of a surprise than I did and bounded off into the bush.
