Finally leaving for Western Australia the first part of our journey will take us across Northern NSW into South Australia via Broken Hill; the first few days take us through Millmerran, Bungunyah and Mungindi, here marking the State border.
With no firm overnight destination, we proceeded via the Toowoomba bypass and stopped for the night for our third time at the Millmerran RV stop; the second night out took us to a quiet little spot on the banks of the Weir River at Bungunya, a 4km detour up the Meandarra Road.
