Mungindi is one of the very few places we have not crossed the QLD/NSW border so had to be on the route this time. A unique town that has a portion in each State with a Police Station on both sides of the bridge; the hospital and Roadhouse are in QLD, the Schools and shops are in NSW. The RV Stop as it happens is in Queensland but of course, the Northern river bank is the State border so you can dip your toe in NSW 😉
A few images around the camping area and a very new addition to Mungindi is the Sculpture trail (September 2022); created by local sculptor Tony (Nicko) McMillan who sadly passed away at 54 years of age. His widow donated his 10 remaining works to the Community:
