Only a 35km drive from Manjimup we are here in Bridgetown for just 3 days and have done two walks, yesterday to the bridges and further downstream on the “Old Rectory Walk”, a figure eight walk of about 3.4km.

Today’s walk was the “recommended”official” Blackwood River and Town walk which took us anti-clockwise to 6.6km and included lunch at the Mulberry Tree Cafe.

A town once based, like many, around the logging industry it is now thriving on tourism, farming and the local Lithium mine at nearby Greenbushes.

A general photo gallery around the walk and the two bridges, rail (Out of use for many years) and road across the Blackwood River
