As we expect to be away from family for the next 2 years or so our children arranged an Easter gathering at daughter Olivia’s and almost everyone made it, including all of our 9 grandchildren .
Following Easter, we finally left on this day, the following Saturday, from the Ipswich Showgrounds. While staying around our Landcruiser has undergone a few changes, now has a permanently mounted solar panel on the roof rack to maintain our car fridge, and the driving lights have been ditched in favour of a single lightbar, the two antennas have been replaced with a new UHF high gain and the cellular ditched in favour of a pole mounted one for the caravan. A Stealth Deflector has been added to the roof rack and the next few weeks will determine if it has any fuel saving benefits .
