Starting right in town behind the Visitor Centre this 2.5km walk takes you around a small hill through a mixed forest area and at this time of year presented us with many freshly appearing Fungi.
At the start of the trail is a memorial list of horses of the early settlers.
Our walk here goes anti clockwise and out and back along the side trail to the highway.
