A walking trail leads from the Rest Point Caravan Park to Sandy Beach a 1.5km distance; you can return to the park via Sandy Beach Road and Rest Point Road. A shorter trail leads off Rest Point Road past an old Sawpit and back to the Sandy Beach Trail close to the Park. Including our walk along the beach and back the total was 4.7km.
A lengthy section of the trail is very narrow with a steep drop off and appropriately signed as the pictures show!
