During our 5 days here, apart from the main section of the National Park we visited most of the Kalbarri Coast and its many lookouts.
On the way into Kalbarri we detoured to the Natural Bridge and Castle Cove Carpark. From here we walked to Island Rock and back, some of which is boardwalk. We then drove around to the Grandstand and Shellhouse carpark; both of these have parking for caravans and coaches.
On a different day, we drove out to Eagle Gorge and then round to Rainbow Valley from where we walked the 2km loop of the Rainbow Valley Trail around past Mushroom Rock with some spectacular coastal views as well as very informative signage about the formation of the cliffs here.
