Well finally get to stay in Tairo, we thought of staying here on the way up but missed finding the rest areas and drove way past and decided to head onward. But there are 2 good spots here and the nicer one by the river was packed when we arrived, very busy, so we headed down to the one in town, just off the highway. It’s not a bad spot to stay even so, and a few vans here too, with toilets in the adjacent park. The wind today is really fresh and making our stay a bit unpleasant, very strong, not really cold but definitely unpleasant.
Walked down and took some photos from the bank of the Mary River, very pretty, quite wide here still, impressive too.
