Descending from the Bunya Mountains it was only about a 7km trip to the bottom and thjis spacious rest area alongside the creek. With little passing traffic, but including local farmers who toot and wave, it was a peaceful spot to spend the night and would be our shortest day of travel for a long time!
Quite a lot of birdlife here, many of them very noisy too!
