Denmark to Walpole and a stay here planned for 2 weeks as they have a Winter special of a very cheap rate of $25 as against the normal $47 per night ad gives us a short break from trying to keep up with all the wonderful attractions and walks in this part of the country. There is no Parkrun near here but Frances found a good forestry road that can give her a 17km training run out and back all the way from the Park here; 2km on the road from here to the highway and 6.5km (or more) at the other side and almost traffic free.
Great property here right on the waters of the Nornalup Inlet, lots of room with only a few other travellers, maybe 12-15 or so overnight but mostly passing through for one or two nights.
Next door to the Park is the Walpole Country Club and Golf Course with a good grass-mowing herd of Kangaroos who also venture around the Caravan Park and down to the waterfront; the Jetty and a boat ramp offer access for the campers for fishing.
