Above: Caravan Park is where Bruce Hwy crosses the O’Connell River
As we continue Northward here we are for 3 days at the O’Connell River Whitsunday Tourist Park, next to the Bruce Hwy but still a very pleasant spot with a river bank area below the park.
Our last day here (Sunday) was Father’s Day so the Park put on a sausage sizzle with a couple of local musicians and the park owner put his collection of classic cars on display. Very pleasant couple of hours on the bank of the river.
